STATEWIDE -- A group of Maine businesses penned a letter to Senator Susan Collins thanking her for standing up for clean energy tax credits and urging her to keep protecting Maine's clean energy economy.

The businesses include Maine Community Power, Black Acre Farms in Wilton, Goodwill Industries of Northern New England, and Sargent Corporation of Bangor. In the letter, they thanked Collins for voting no on President Trump's big beautiful bill and voicing concern that the loss of clean energy tax credits will put Maine jobs and investments at risk.
