WAUSAUKEE, Wis. — Mystery author J.L. Hyde will visit the Wausaukee Public Library for an author talk at 6 p.m. today at 704 Main St. in Wausaukee.

The talk is free and open to the public. The event is made possible through the support of the Friends of the Wausaukee Library.

Hyde is known for fast-paced crime and mystery novels set around the Upper Peninsula and northern Great Lakes region, including the Grady Lake series (“Grady Lake,” “Secrets of Grady,” “Ghosts of Grady”), Delta County (with film rights optioned), “Summer of ’99,” “Midnight in Delta County,” “Magnolia Court,” “The Bluff,” and the latest, “To All Those I’ve Killed Before.”
