Mendoza scores twice as Long Branch takes command -

Brandon Mendoza scored two goals and assisted on another as Long Branch reeled off four in a row in the second half to overtake Brick Memorial, 4-2, in Group 8 pool play in the Shore Conference Tournament.

Mendoza converted Marvin Oyuela’s assist to tie the game early in the second half and added his second goal of the game, off Matheus Lopes’ assist, a moment later.
