Detectives from Maryborough Criminal Investigation Branch have arrested three people following investigations into multiple break ins of businesses in Hervey Bay.

A 16-year-old Scarness boy has been charged with five counts of enter premises with intent to commit indictable offence, four counts of enter premises and commit indictable offence by break, two counts of enter premises and commit indictable offence, two counts of unlawful use of motor vehicle and one count each of enter dwelling and commit and receiving tainted property.

He is due to appear in Hervey Bay Childrens Court on 17 September.
