Indiana football quarterback Fernando Mendoza has thrown for 708 yards (72.4%) with nine touchdowns through three games.

The Hoosiers quarterback has the sixth-highest QB rating (189.7) in the country.

Mendoza will face his biggest test of the season this weekend against an Illinois defense that has an experienced secondary.
