If a person or group in Columbia "exemplifies the life and teachings of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.," the city's Office of Cultural Affairs wants to know about them.

OCA is accepting nominations for the Columbia Values Diversity Celebration happening Jan. 28 at the Wyndham Expo Center, 2200 Interstate 70 Drive SW.

The deadline to submit is 5 p.m. Nov. 14. Further information, including details about a student writing program, is available through the online page for the celebration on the city's website.
