Christmas will come early to the U.K. this year with the release of Gurinder Chadha ’s Christmas Karma by True Brit Entertainment on November 14, and Deadline can unveil the trailer

The feel-good, musical adaptation of   the Charles Dickens classic  A Christmas Carol stars The Big Bang Theory ’s Kunal Nayyar as modern-day Scrooge, Mr. Sood, with Eva Longoria, Billy Porter and Boy George playing the three ghosts of Christmas.

Bend It Like Beckham  and   Blinded By The Light director Chadha has transposed the story to contemporary London and added a backstory to mean-spirited Mr. Sood, in which he has buried the childhood trauma of being expelled from Uganda with the rest of its Indian community in the 1970s.
