A Glenolden optician charged in February with sexual assault and offering free items in exchange for sexual acts with customers entered a negotiated guilty plea to five charges.

Brian T. Steiner, 40, of the 100 block of Rambler Road, pleaded to two counts each of indecent assault and promoting prostitution, all misdemeanors, as well as one felony count of theft by unlawful taking.

The remaining charges, which included rape by threat of forcible compulsion, sexual assault, false imprisonment, stalking and harassment, will be dismissed at sentencing under the guilty plea negotiated by Assistant District Attorney Bryan Barth and defense counsel Steven Pacillio.

Barth told Common Pleas Court Judge Kevin F. Kelly that he and Pacillio are still working on the exact sentences for each count.
