Three children, aged 6, 15 and 17, were killed in a Freightliner truck crash in California on Saturday, Sept. 13

The California Highway Patrol indicated that the two younger children had not been wearing seatbelts while the 17-year-old teenage girls was "restrained but not wearing her seatbelt properly"

A California mother survived a Freightliner Truck crash over the weekend, but her three children did not, authorities have said.

On Saturday, Sept. 13, at approximately 6 p.m. local time, California Highway Patrol (CHP) Madera officers responded to a two-vehicle crash on Avenue 7 at Road 24 in Madera County, per a Facebook post.
