A major retailer has fired the starting gun for the frantic race to secure a delicious festive deal. Tesco has triggered a shopping frenzy by cutting the price of a 600g tub of Quality Street by more than half.
The regular price of the assortment stands at £7, but that cost doesn't affect every shopper. Clubcard members can snap up the chocolates for £2.95 – a 57 per cent cut from the original price – and foodies have already expressed their excitement on social media.
But there is a downside – the promotion has proved so popular that no 600g tubs of Quality Street chocolates remain available online. The product has sold out on the Tesco website, though selected branches still stock them.
