CLEVELAND, Ohio — Twice last year, Olmsted Falls had Avon in a dangerous spot.

The Eagles’ road to a ninth straight Southwestern Conference championship and first state title hit their biggest road bumps against the Bulldogs, who held leads in both their regular season and playoff meetings. Both times, Avon rallied and went on to complete its historic football season.
