KINSTON, N.C. (WITN) - Police in Kinston say they’ve arrested a third person wanted in connection with an ongoing homicide investigation.

Around 9 p.m. yesterday, Kinston officers took Prince Ellison into custody in Walstonburg with help from the Lenoir County Special Response Team and the Greene County Sheriff’s Office.

Kinston police said yesterday they were looking for Ellison, who was wanted for the murder of Daryl Dudley.

Dudley was gunned down on August 28th at Richard Green Apartments. Police have yet to release a motive in the shooting.

Just last month, police arrested two men in connection with the homicide on weapon charges.

Ellison is also being charged with possession of a firearm by a felon.

Ellison is in jail without bond and is set to appear in court this morning.
