(Bismarck, ND) — Officials are reporting record numbers of airline travelers across the state. Last month, North Dakota reportedly saw its highest number of monthly passenger boardings ever. Travelers exceeded 112-thousand boardings in August, which surpassed the previous August high set in 2024 by five percent. Seven of the state’s eight airports also had higher passenger numbers compared to last year. Officials say the data comes as North Dakota is experiencing its 16th consecutive month of increased airline traffic.
