(Minot, ND) — Ward County authorities are charging an inmate after allegedly finding homemade weapons in their cell. Shawnee Krall was found guilty of two counts of possession of a weapon by an inmate yesterday after jail staffers reportedly found the weapons in his cell. The incident happened in 2023 while Krall was in custody at the Ward County Jail. A jury eventually found him guilty of Alice Queirolo’s 2020 death in August 2024, and he received life in prison without parole this past February. Krall will be officially sentenced for the weapons charges in January, as he already stated he will appeal the murder conviction.
