A Moray-based nursery and tree growing business is up for sale, following its administration earlier this month.

Graham Smith and Michelle Elliot of FRP Advisory were appointed joint administrators of Christies (Fochabers) on 10 September.

The company continues to trade, employing 32 staff, while a buyer is sought.

Christies has invested significantly in the nursery’s infrastructure in recent years, including the development of grading facilities, cold store refrigeration and modern agricultural equipment. Its Arradoul site includes a range of agricultural buildings, plant and machinery, tree stocks and associated land.
