WALDOBORO — “Voter Forum 2025: Protecting Democracy & Public Safety,” will be held Saturday, Sept. 27, from 3-5 p.m. at the BugTussle Annex, 251 Jefferson St. in Waldoboro. Hosted by the Bremen and Nobleboro Democratic Committees, the event is free and open to the public and will focus on the two citizen referenda appearing on the November ballot.

Attendees will have the opportunity to speak with knowledgeable guests who will provide background and perspectives on Question 1, colloquially known as the Voter ID or Voter Suppression Law, and Question 2, an Emergency Risk Protective Order or Red Flag Law.

Opponents of Question 1 will share the proposed law’s potential impact on Maine voting policies and access.
