Few in the performing arts reached the heights of success as had Robert Redford (who died this past week at the age of 89). Starting with “Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid” (the 1969 film directed by George Roy Hill and co-starring Paul Newman), every movie Redford acted in was a hit.
