Master Gardeners set fall seminar in Mandeville
The St. Tammany Master Gardener Association, in conjunction with the LSU AgCenter, will host a day-long gathering for speakers on design, seed preservation and boutiques plus lunch Oct. 17.
Held at Church of the King, 22205 Little Creed Road in Mandeville, the event runs from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Laura Dowling, former chief floral designer at the White House, will speak on holiday design, and John Coykendall, artist and master gardener, will discuss saving and preserving seeds.
