An 11-year-old was arrested in Florida after he allegedly wrote a "kill list" on his desk at school, authorities said.

The student was arrested on a felony charge for threatening fellow students at Southwestern Middle School in DeLand, the Volusia County Sheriff's Office said Tuesday.

The sheriff's office said he made the list because he was "angry and having a bad day."

"If you're tired of this, imagine how the 99% of students, parents, teachers and school staff are feeling," the sheriff's office wrote in a social media post that included footage of the boy being led in handcuffs into a holding cell.
