A North Andover police officer accused of pointing a gun at a fellow officer serving her a restraining order taken out by her fiancé will stay in jail after a judge denied a request from her lawyers to reconsider the order to detain her .

Lawyers for Kelsey Fitzsimmons , 28, said her injuries from being shot in the chest by the other officer made it difficult for her to complete court-ordered testing for alcohol on a SCRAM device. Fitzsimmons could complete the testing, but not without severe pain, her lawyers said at a hearing last week.
