President Donald Trump’s favorability rating among Latino and Hispanic voters is continuing to sink, according to a new poll.
From 2016 to 2024, the number of Latinos and Hispanics who voted for Trump has continued to grow, becoming part of his coalition.
In 2024, Trump defeated former Vice President Kamala Harris to win a second term, garnering 48% of the Hispanic vote to Harris’s 51%, according to the Pew Research Center . This was a major improvement from his 2016 and 2020 campaigns, where he only won 28% and 36% of the Hispanic vote, respectively.
A new September poll from the liberal-leaning Latino and Hispanic voter group Somos Votantes , however, found that Trump’s favorability among these voters is getting worse.
The poll found that 39% of Latino and Hispanic voters have a
