DANVILLE, Va. (WDBJ) - The Danville Police Department is in search of a man accused of taking part in a hit-and-run on Sunday morning, September 14.

Near 1:30 a.m. on Sunday, officers were alerted to the 600 block of Lynn St. where a 28-year-old woman had been hit by a vehicle and was found lying in the street.

The woman was taken to a hospital for her injuries and is expected to be okay, according to Danville PD.

Police identified the suspect and said he was last reported seen wearing a red top with red bottoms, both with a white stripe.

Officers say the wanted man was last reported driving a gold or champagne colored Honda with the driver side fender being a mismatched color.
