Joplin NALA’s fifth annual Literacy Liftoff has been rescheduled for 5 to 7:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 26, at the Missouri Southern State University soccer fields on Green and Gold Boulevard.

Literacy Liftoff is a community event and fundraiser that supports the adult literacy work that NALA performs. It is free and is set to include tethered hot air balloon rides, bounce houses, yard games, basket raffle, DJ entertainment, food trucks and information from community organizations. It had been scheduled in August but had to be canceled because of severe weather. ×
