NEW YORK (PIX11) -- Multiple packages of smoked fish have been recalled nationwide because of possible Listeria contamination, according to the New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets.

The company Haifa Smoked Fish of Jamaica, New York, recalled packages of its 8-ounce Cold Smoked Salmon and Cold Smoked Seabass after sampling by the Department of Agriculture found Listeria in both products.

The fish was distributed nationwide to retail stores, but no illnesses have been reported to date.

Consumers who may have the fish are advised to return it to the original place of purchase for a full refund.
