2Juvenile shooter captured after Hudson Street chaos

Columbus, OH – A teenage suspect fired shots into a local store Saturday, hitting two people before fleeing the scene and hiding in a nearby garage, where officers tracked him down and made an arrest within minutes.

The shooting happened on Saturday in the 1800 block of Hudson Street. According to the Columbus Division of Police, the juvenile suspect opened fire inside the store, striking two victims. The exact condition of the victims has not been released, but police confirmed that both were injured in the incident.

After the gunfire, the suspect fled on foot and was found shortly after hiding several buildings away in a detached garage. Officers took him into custody without further incident.
