With her second and final full term as New Mexico secretary of state drawing to a close, Democrat Maggie Toulouse Oliver said in May she was weighing her options for the future.

"I'm still waiting to see kind of what the universe has to offer up, and I'll just say, 'Never say never to running for a future office,' " she said in a wide-ranging interview on The New Mexican 's Around the Roundhouse podcast.
