CLEVELAND, Ohio — A member of the Aryan Brotherhood who authorities say recently made a menacing phone call to the Maltz Museum in Beachwood was arrested Friday and charged with illegally possessing a firearm.

Blake Meyer, 25, is described by federal authorities as an “enforcer” for the violent neo-Nazi gang. Court records say he previously attacked a man in prison at the direction of a gang leader.

FBI agents on Friday searched Meyer’s homes in Kirtland and Mentor, seizing a loaded handgun, ammunition, a rifle scope, a laptop, and a 3D printer they believe he used to manufacture at least one firearm.

Meyer is charged in federal court in Cleveland with being a felon in possession of a firearm. He will remain in custody at least until a detention hearing scheduled for Thursday. His attor
