Wolverine has a new surrogate son in X-Men lore. Since his introduction, the young mutant known as Ransom has become increasingly close to Logan. Now, fans are wondering if he is officially the newest member of Wolverine's extended family, or if this is set up for a tragic turn of events foreshadowed earlier in Uncanny X-Men's current run.

Uncanny X-Men #21 is written by Gail Simone, with art by Luciano Vecchio. The preview for the issue features a flashback to Ransom's childhood, while in the present, he confronts his biological father alongside his new mentor and father-figure, Wolverine.

Ransom has quickly become an X-Men fan-favorite, thanks in part to his dynamic with Wolverine.
