COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - The victim from a deadly shooting on Sept. 6 has been identified as Ismael Rivera-Mora, 29.

According to the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD), officers received a call for service regarding shots fired in the 1200 Block of Potter Drive at 11:09 p.m.

Officers responded to the scene and found Rivera-Mora dead with at least one gunshot wound, and another person with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound who was taken to the hospital.

While the El Paso County Coroner’s Office will determine the cause and manner of death, police are investigating the case as a homicide.

This is an ongoing investigation.
