Creeps have been caught on CCTV lurking around an Edinburgh home in the dead of night while residents were sleeping. ‌

A resident of Saughton Mains Place became alarmed after waking up in the middle of the night to the startling realisation that unknown individuals may have been on her property . ‌

Footage was captured on CCTV at around 3.50am on Monday, September 15, which showed suspicious figures outside of her home. ‌

A local called it "scary stuff" and warned neighbours to be "super-cautious" in case it was not an isolated incident while speaking to Edinburgh Live.

Footage appears to show a figure walking up the driveway and approaching the local's car. The shadowy figures seem to peer through the windows before turning and leaving the way they came.
