A father has issued an urgent warning to holidaymakers after his son tragically passed away beside his two children during a flight to Bulgaria.
Chris Neill, 40, was travelling with his sons Reece, 20, and Archie, nine, from Liverpool's John Lennon Airport to Burgas on September 16 last year when he suddenly became unwell aboard the aircraft.
Following the tragedy, Chris's parents Mal and Lesley launched a GoFundMe appeal to raise money for repatriating his body to the UK.
The fundraising campaign exceeded expectations, gathering nearly £10,000 above the £15,000 goal.
On the first anniversary of Chris's passing, Mal disclosed that the donations covered the cost of bringing his son's body home, with the remaining funds placed into trust accounts for the two boys, reports the Mirror .
