WOODBURN, Ore. (KPTV) - One person was killed and two others were hurt in an early morning crash in Woodburn on Wednesday, according to the Marion County Sheriff’s Office.

Just before 3 a.m., deputies were called to a crash near the 10700 block of Crosby Road Northeast. The sheriff’s office said deputies arrived to the crash scene and found a sedan with significant damage.

The driver, identified as 37-year-old Miguel Arellano Perez, of Hubbard, died at the scene.

The sheriff’s office said two passengers were also in the car; one passenger was taken by Life Flight to a hospital with serious injuries and the other was taken by ambulance.

Crosby Road NE was closed for about six hours while deputies investigated the crash.

The cause has not yet been released.
