Srinagar, Sept 17: The National Institute of Technology (NIT) Srinagar officially launched the Swachhata Hi Seva (SHS) 2025 campaign on Wednesday as part of the nationwide cleanliness initiative inspired by Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat (EBSB).
According to a statement issued here, the inauguration, held near the Main Building fountain, was attended by In-Charge Director, Prof. Roohi Naaz, Registrar Prof. Atikur Rahman, Dean of Students Welfare Prof. Mohammad Abid Bazaz, Dean of Alumni and International Affairs Professor M.A. Shah, and Nodal Officer of SHS 2025 Dr. Ashok Kumar.
A key highlight of the event was the Swachhata Pledge, in which participants committed to dedicating 100 hours per year, or two hours per week, to voluntary cleanliness activities.
