A woman died after a fall in a Queensland pub this week, sparking an ongoing investigation.
At about 7.45pm on Sunday, September 14, police were called to a Scenic Highway taverrn in Taranganba, Yeppoon, on the coast south of Mackay, after reports a woman had fallen and suffered life-threatening head injuries.
The 50-year-old woman was airlifted to hospital, but she died yesterday.
A 42-year-old Rosslyn man, who was known to the woman, is assisting police with their enquiries.
Police are also now appealing to witnesses who may have seen a man and woman at the same licensed premises in Taranganba on Sunday between 6pm and 8pm.
In particular, investigators want to speak with two groups of people who left the premises at about 7.30pm, and the occupants of a dual-cab ute that drove
