An Oregon high school principal is facing likely charges of producing and distributing child sexual-abuse material after sheriff’s deputies arrested him on Tuesday.

Jeremy Peter Williams, 49, of Longview, is accused of possessing depictions of minors engaged in sexually explicit content, as well as distributing child sex-abuse material, the Cowlitz County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement.

Williams is the principal of the Rainier Junior/Senior High School; the school district said he was already on paid administrative leave at the time of his arrest due to an unrelated issue.
