It seems West Aussies have more pouty lips and less wrinkles than most of the rest of the nation — and not because of the healthy lifestyle.

One in eight of us use fillers such as Botox, spending more on treatments to make us look younger than anyone else in the country.

A new survey of 1000 Australians by Contour Clinics revealed that West Australians shell out an average of $512.11 a year on skin volumisation and rejuvenation — nearly $20 more than Queenslanders.

But while we like to keep ourselves looking young, West Aussies are actually reducing their beauty spend compared to the rest of the country.

WA had the highest proportion of people reducing their beauty spend in the past year at 23.3 per cent.
