A local band will be going across the pond to perform on a big stage.

Troy High School has been selected once again to bring their musical talent to London for the London Parade and Festival to ring in 2027.

It will be the band’s seventh appearance in the parade, an internationally celebrated event being broadcast to an audience of millions across the world.

According to those behind the parade, the bands are always a big hit.

"The marching bands from the States, we have a number of high schools, a number of universities as well, and they are far and away the most popular thing that we have by a million miles,” said Bob Bone, founder of the London Parade and Festival.
