A man was killed on the National Mall on Wednesday while delivering a 1979 racecar painted by Andy Warhol.

Just before 3 p.m., U.S. Park Police and D.C. emergency medical services responded to reports of a man trapped under a vehicle at 14th Street and Jefferson Drive SW, just steps away from the Washington Monument, authorities said. They found a man suffering critical injuries. Despite lifesaving efforts from medics, he was pronounced dead.
