GREENWOOD COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) -- State Superintendent Ellen Weaver announced a new partnership with American Battlefield Trust to provide students and teachers with free learning resources on the American Revolutionary War.

The announcement was held at Edgewood Middle School in Ninety Six, South Carolina, on Constitution and Citizenship Day to help jumpstart the celebration of America's 250th Anniversary, according to Superintendent Weaver.

The resources from American Battlefield Trust are part of a state-wide initiative, the Palmetto Civics Project, and use new technology to teach about American history.
