Orlando is celebrating 150 years this year.

Gateway District

The Gateway District in Orlando, stretching from Lake Underhill to the airport along Semoran Boulevard, is evolving into a vibrant community that serves as a cultural crossroads and a hub for local businesses.

Amil Cordova, executive director of the district, said, "We are pretty much the gateway to tourists to come in Orlando." He emphasized the community spirit, adding, "I think that's what really makes it unique, and everybody supporting each other."

The district is home to a mix of big franchises and family-owned businesses, such as High Tide Harry's. Brennan Heretick
