We are tracking more heat after yesterday’s stormy weather. Temperatures will likely reach into the low and mid 90s from now into the weekend. Along with the heat, we can’t rule out a spotty shower or thunderstorm, but most will stay dry. Heading into next week, rain chances will increase across the ArkLaMiss, as a trough of low pressure lingers across the middle of the country. This will be a chance from the mainly hot and dry weather we’ve experienced over the last two to three weeks. Temperatures next week will likely rain from the mid to upper 80s, so some suttle relief from the extreme heat is on the way. We are also tracking the newly formed Tropical Storm Gabrielle in the Atlantic. As of now, this storm will not impact the United States.
