FARGO — A Matbus budget recommendation includes cuts to two city bus services, rather than a list of cuts proposed to bring down the city of Fargo's costs.

In a meeting Wednesday morning, Sept. 17, the Matbus Coordination Committee voted 10-1 to approve a budget recommendation that cuts one bus route in Fargo and on-demand transportation to the Fargo industrial park. Fargo Finance Director Susan Thompson cast the lone no vote on the board that includes elected officials and employees from Moorhead, Fargo, West Fargo, Dilworth, Metro COG and North Dakota State University.

The recommendation will go to the Fargo City Commission and Moorhead City Council for final approval.
