A new manufacturing company coming to Florence in October is expected to create more than 100 jobs in Fremont County over the next few years, an addition that those involved hope will contribute to the county's economic growth.

Mytikas Industries is a "homegrown" small Colorado-based manufacturing company primarily focused on building "luxury tiny homes." The company's story started two years ago when it bought an former drywall manufacturing factory in Florence. The remodeling process was a "multi-million dollar project," and is nearing completion, according to founding partner and interim Chief Marketing Officer Nathan Frisk.
