MUNCIE, IN — Administrators at Ball State University have fired the university's director of health promotion and advocacy over Facebook comments she posted after the Sept. 10 assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk.

In her posting — on her personal Facebook account — Suzanne Swierc announced that "if you think Charlie Kirk was a wonderful person, we can't be friends."
