Recall Alert: Haifa smoked fish recalls salmon and sea bass products over Listeria concerns

QUEENS (WABC) -- The Haifa company in Jamaica, Queens, is recalling smoked fish over Listeria concerns.

The Haifa company is recalling smoked salmon and sea bass products over possible Listeria contamination.

The products have either the number 219 or 212 on the back of them.

Though no illnesses have been reported, Listeria could cause severe symptoms like fever and headaches and could be fatal to people who have weakened immune systems.

If you bought these products you are advised not to eat them and return to the store for a full refund.
