SULLIVAN COUNTY, Tenn. (WJHL) — The Sullivan County Sheriff's Office hosted a prayer vigil for Charlie Kirk's family on Wednesday.
The vigil began with a reading of The Constitution and was followed by a prayer shortly after. According to the sheriff's office, the vigil was for "Charlie Kirk's family, our community, our nation, and for unity."
Tyler McMullins, a speaker at the vigil, said the experience was positively overwhelming.
"Seeing all the response, the positive response to, to what has happened in our, in our nation," he said. "Folks come together for prayer vigils. People come together to pray and seek God. That's the key. And to me, this is the key to revival, for our nation to get back to God."
