AUSTINTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) - Austintown Fitch senior Rylie Simons reached another rare feat during the Falcons 3-0 win over Girard in girls high school volleyball action.

Simons, who broke the school record as a sophomore, became the 15th player in OHSAA history to reach 3,000 career assists

"It means so much because I didn't really think I would do all this. I didn't think I could accomplish all this," Simons said. "I'm really proud of myself and how much work I've worked over the years. I've played for ten years now, so I'm really grateful."

The 3,000 career mark puts her less than 100 assists away from reaching the top five all-time with nine games remaining.
