The Provo Missionary Training Center of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is preparing to receive “significant” updates, according to a Tuesday report on ChurchofJesusChrist.org .

These updates include plans to remove and rebuild the training center’s cafeteria and administration buildings, as well as to design two new buildings to be constructed in the area where the cafeteria and administration buildings now stand.

“Over the decades, the Provo MTC campus has evolved to meet the needs of a growing missionary force, with new buildings added and others updated,” the report states.

It adds the missionary training center will “remain fully operational throughout the multiyear project,” and says updates will “enhance the missionary experience.”
