FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - The Federal Reserve lowered the interest rates by a quarter-point on Wednesday, and a home lender in Fort Wayne believes this is a good sign for home buyers.
David Gibson, branch manager of VSI Home Landing, believes that this could encourage some people who are on the fence about becoming homeowners to leap.
“It sort of builds confidence with everyone because there’s been a lot of people on the fence about wanting to wait. So, I feel like this is going to push people who might be on the edge to say, alright, its time,” says Gibson.
For the first time since December, the Federal Reserve cut interest rates , a move Trump had been requesting since the beginning of his term.
