Why the Cinnamon Recall Keeps Growing

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has expanded its ongoing cinnamon recall. This is the fourth expansion of the nationwide recall, which began in March 2024 and was broadened again in July, and even more products were added to the recall in November 2024 .

What Products Are Impacted Now

In the latest expansion, the FDA has included Jiva Organic ground cinnamon after samples collected at a retail location were found to contain elevated levels of lead.
